PROJECT SUMMARY
The Santa Ana Gardens Channel Bikeway Extension Project will improve safety for bicyclists and pedestrians and will provide connections to the existing and future bikeways. It is not only a bikeway – this will be a new path that provides a connection to the community, providing a safe walkway to nearby schools, Jerome Park and adjacent neighborhoods.
WHAT
During the Spring Break week for Monte Vista Elementary School, a portion of West Monta Vista Avenue, along the entry to the school, will be closed. Work begins at South Center Street and continues to Townsend Street.
The road will be fully closed each day and will not re-open overnight. Pedestrians will have sidewalk access throughout the duration of the road closure.
