PROJECT SUMMARY
OC Public Works will complete concrete repairs within the Fullerton Creek flood control channel located in the city of Fullerton. Work will include the use of heavy equipment within the channel.
WHERE
Fullerton Creek flood control channel located between Dale Street and Brookhurst Road.
WHAT
Construction crews will begin maintenance within the flood control channel to maintain effective operation of the channel to minimize the risk of flooding in your community.
Maintenance activities will include repairs to the concrete lining of the channel at various locations within the project area. This includes removing and replacing sections of concrete within the channel.
Maintenance activities will move along the project area from one location to the next location as various activities are completed; activities will not occur at each location for the entire duration listed above. Residents may experience a temporary increase in noise during project activities.
Your safety is our top priority! Never enter a flood control channel, as they can be dangerous and public access is restricted. Please stay out of the project area and observe all project safety signs, barriers and personnel.
