OC Public Works (OCPW) will complete emergency repairs to the Esperanza Channel affecting access to the Dominguez Ranch Trail. Project activities will include the use of large equipment within the flood control channel.
WHAT
Construction crews will be performing emergency repairs in the flood control channel to ensure it continues operating effectively, reducing flood risk in your community.
Work will include:
- Stabilizing and strengthening sections of the channel
- Removing trees
- Replacing fencing
- Restoring the trail
Partial lane closures may be needed during material deliveries and hauling.
Traffic control signs and flaggers will be present.
Nearby residents may notice a temporary increase in noise and vibrations during construction.

Please stay clear of the project area and follow all posted safety signs and directions from personnel.
