PROJECT SUMMARY
OC Public Works will complete a sidewalk project to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards in Olive Heights (unincorporated county area in the city of Orange). Work will be completed from the corner of Palm Avenue and westward along East Lincoln Avenue approximately 140 feet.
WHAT
Work includes construction of a sidewalk along the north side of Lincoln Avenue, a retaining wall, removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter, new chain link fencing and an ADA-compliant curb ramp.
New retaining wall will include rock-wall face an serve as an extension of the existing wall (existing wall with “Olive Heights” name will remain).
TREE REMOVALS: To accommodate these sidewalk improvements, five small trees in the project area on the north side of Lincoln Ave., west of Palm Ave., will need to be removed (the large tree directly behind the existing retaining wall will remain).

Monday — Friday, 7 a.m. — 3:30 p.m.
LANE CLOSURE: Lane closure along Lincoln Avenue will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The construction schedule is tentative and subject to change.
