Potholing and Utility Exploration at
Channel Bridges in Huntington Beach
PERIODIC LANE CLOSURES REQUIRED
PROJECT SUMMARY
OC Public Works will complete a four-day utility exploration project across three channel bridges (Warner Avenue, Springdale Street, and Edwards Street) in the City of Huntington Beach.
WHAT
Work includes potholing, or digging test holes, in order to identify the location of underground utility equipment in preparation for upcoming bridge improvements.
LANE CLOSURES: The bridges will remain open, however, anticipate delays and mind flag personnel and signage when driving through the project areas. Lane closures will change as work progresses.
WHEN
April 10-14, 2023
(Rescheduled to this date after initial rain delay.)
Work Schedule
Tuesday — Friday
Location 1 — Warner Avenue
Location 2 — Springdale Street
Location 3 — Edwards Street
Schedule is tentative and subject to change due to weather and other factors.
WHERE
Work will take place on Warner Avenue, Springdale Street and Edwards Street over and in proximity to flood channel bridges.
