BRIDGE MAINTENANCE ALERT
Crown Valley Parkway & Oso Parkway Bridges
Required Lane & Trail Closures
PROJECT SUMMARY
OC Public Works will complete routine maintenance to both the Crown Valley Parkway Bridge and Oso Parkway Bridge to extend the bridges’ service life and maintain safe operation. These bridges span over the Trabuco Creek/Arroyo Trabuco Wilderness Area located east of Mission Viejo and west of Ladera Ranch (Crown Valley Parkway Bridge) and Las Flores (Oso Parkway Bridge).
WHAT
INTERMITTENT LANE CLOSURES: Commuters and other bridge users may experience brief delays at times during project activities as lane closures are required. Lane closures will be as needed and not continuous. Lanes will open for public use at the end of each workday. Please allow for additional travel time.
INTERMITTENT TRAIL CLOSURES (below bridges): Periodically, closures of dirt trail sections directly below both bridges will be closed as a safety precaution during certain project activities. 48-hour notice will be issued before trail closures. Trail areas outside of the project will remain accessible.
Bridge maintenance activities will include:
• Repairing road surface areas along the bridges
• Applying road surface treatment to enhance durability
• Installing stormwater drainage conduit to protect utility equipment
