Construction Alert: Antonio Parkway, Daisy Street Road Grinding and Resurfacing (Aug.-Sept. 2022)

OCPW will begin two "grind and overlay" projects along Antonio Parkway on  August 1, 2022. Location specific construction notifications can be downloaded at the bottom of this post/page. 

(1) Antonio Parkway South and Daisy Street

PROJECT SUMMARY

OC Public Works  will complete a “grind and overlay” road resurfacing project along the southern portion of Antonio Parkway (beginning a quarter-mile south of Covenant Hills Drive down to Ortega Highway) and on Daisy Street in the Ladera Ranch area of unincorporated Orange County. Access to residences and businesses may be limited during working hours, depending on the location of the work.

WHAT

Construction activity will include grinding and paving on Antonio Parkway and Daisy Street, adjusting various utilities, seal coating with polymers, and reestablishing traffic striping, pavement markings and raised pavement markers within Ladera Ranch, an unincorporated area of the County of Orange.

  • Additional notice will be provided 72-hours prior to work via door hangers and “No Parking” signs.

August 1, 2022 — September 2022

☾ Overnight on Antonio Parkway: 7 p.m. — 5 a.m.
☼ Daytime on Daisy Street: 7 a.m. — 4 p.m.
The construction schedule is tentative and subject to change due to weather and other factors.

(2) Antonio Parkway at Oso Parkway (Ladera Ranch and Las Flores)

PROJECT SUMMARY

OC Public Works will complete a “grind and overlay” road resurfacing project along the northern portion of Antonio Parkway (beginning south of Oso Parkway and continuing approximately two miles north) in the Ladera Ranch and Las Flores areas of unincorporated Orange County and the City of Rancho Santa Margarita. Access to residences and businesses may be limited during working hours, depending on the location of the work.

WHAT

Construction activity will include an asphalt overlay, adjusting various utilities, cold pour crack filling and seal coating at select locations, and reestablishing traffic loops, traffic striping, pavement markings and raised pavement markers within the Ladera Ranch and Las Flores unincorporated areas of the County of Orange.

  • Additional notice will be provided 48-hours in advance via door knob hangar cards and “No Parking” signs.
  • The project area adjacent to Las Flores Middle/Elementary Schools between Oso Pkwy and Sable is planned for completion by August 14, 2022.
