ORANGE -- Orange County’s Public Works Department is hosting an Open House on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2301 Glassell Street. This event is held in conjunction with National Public Works Week which runs from May 15 - 21, 2011. National Public Works Week is a celebration of the tens of thousands of men and women in North America who provide and maintain the infrastructure and services collectively known as public works.
Jess Carbajal, Director of OC Public Works commented, “Our Open House gives us an opportunity to invite the public to see firsthand the broad spectrum of services and programs that OC Public Works provides County residents.”
This year’s festivities includes snacks, soft drinks, opportunity drawings, games for the kids, live music, and exhibits hosted by Public Works Divisions.
