STANTON, CA -- The County of Orange's Public Works Department will close Dale Street at Katella Avenue from February 10 to February 13, 2011. The closure is taking place to construct an 8'X 6' pre-cast reinforced concrete box storm drain on Katella Avenue across Dale Street. Dale Street will reopen late Sunday evening on February 13, 2011.
Drivers should be advised that north bound traffic on Dale Street can turn east and detour to Magnolia Avenue to proceed north, or turn west and detour to Beach Boulevard to proceed north. South bound thru traffic on Dale Street will be detoured at Cerritos Avenue to proceed south at either Magnolia Avenue to the east, or Beach Boulevard to the west.
The construction work being completed during this phase is part of a larger project that will widen Katella Avenue to provide three lanes of traffic in each direction. In addition, bus turnouts and drainage improvements will be other benefits of this project.
If you have additional questions regarding the construction, please contact Principal Construction Inspector, George Zaun at 714-448-6829.
