What: Ribbon cutting to celebrate completion of Upper Newport Bay Ecosystem Restoration Project, a partnership between multiple government jurisdictions, private companies, along with local community organizations and individual partners.

Moorlach; Keith D. Curry, Mayor, Newport Beach; Leslie Daigle, Newport Beach Councilwoman; and Theresa Stewart, California Department of Fish and Game.
Why: To celebrate the completion of a 10-year, $47.4 million dollar project to restore one of the last remaining coastal wetlands in Southern California.
